COVID-19 UPDATE

Dear Dentists on Dunbar Patients,
We hope this message finds you and your families well. We have all been through a lot over the past few months with the Covid-19 pandemic. As our province slowly begins to restart the economy, all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal routines. We wanted to bring you up to date with what will be happening with our practice as we prepare to welcome you back.

The provincial government has announced that dental offices may start to reopen. However, it is with very strict guidelines and protocols as set out by the British Columbia Centre for Disease Control, Worksafe BC and the College of Dental Surgeons of BC. These guidelines will likely continue to evolve and we will adapt as required. We plan to gradually re-open in the safest way possible and take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our patients and staff and the community at large. As always, our first priority is to ensure you receive the highest quality of care in the safest possible environment.

Standard procedures as you knew them will be different, and to meet new PPE requirements, our team will look different as well. We appreciate in advance your understanding and cooperation as we navigate our way through these changes that we must incorporate into our daily practice. We have included a list with the changes we will be instituting for your safety and that you can expect to see at your next visit.

Our reception team will begin setting up appointments in the coming weeks, as we await the delivery of the necessary PPE’s. Drs. Book and Davidson remain available by phone for any emergency concerns you may have.

We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Dr. Book, Dr. Davidson and Team
